The Journalism II course consists of 25 Monarchs that utilize their talents to serve the Mitty community. Beyond just attending high school, these Excalibur staff members get to be, as our own Keith Mathews has shared, “the keeper of memories.” Through design, photography and writing, these historians learn the importance of journalism and document all that it takes to be a Monarch today.
Upholding the program’s motto of “making everyone feel like a someone,” it is our mission to include each member of our community and highlight our shared experiences. Our hope is when you open the yearbook decades later, you are transported back to today and smile about all the accomplishments, memories, and people that make Archbishop Mitty so special. We thank you for your participation and support of this program. Go Monarchs!
STUDENTS AND FAMILIES CAN SUBMIT THEIR PHOTOS

Club activities
Due to contractual deadlines, we are no longer accepting senior tribute submissions. We sold out and have submitted them to the publisher to be printed. We are grateful for everyone’s participation in celebrating the Class of 2026 and can’t wait for the students to receive them in May!
Yearbook costs are built into the Student Activities fee during registration so every student receives a yearbook at the end of the year!
