The Archbishop Mitty swimming and diving program enjoyed one of the most successful seasons in school history in 2026. The Monarchs captured both the boys' and girls' CCS Championships, finished CIF State Runner-Up in the girls competition by just one point, and placed 4th in the boys competition. The program also produced eight WCAL individual champions, a CIF State Champion, multiple NISCA All-Americans, and earned Top 10 national rankings with the girls finishing No. 3 and the boys No. 8 in the NISCA National Dual Meet Rankings. The program offers varsity and freshman-sophomore teams for men and varsity and junior varsity teams for women.
Coach Thomas Miller '83 recently completed his 39th season as head coach and 41st year with the Archbishop Mitty aquatics program. A CCS Girls Swimming Honor Coach, he has led the Monarchs to 22 WCAL and 11 CCS championships, while more than 40 student-athletes have earned NISCA All-America honors under his leadership.
