The women’s softball program has taken home 16 sectional banners over the years, which is more than any other program in CCS history. Currently, several Monarchs play for the Team USA softball team. In 2009, the Monarchs won the National Championship after going 32-0.
Coach Megan Yocke ’07 brings years of experience coaching and playing softball to the team. During high school, she was an outstanding softball player, helping the Monarchs to 4 WCAL and 3 CCS championships. Coach Yocke went on to play softball for the University of Kentucky and currently is in the top 10 career records for the Wildcats in 10 categories including: RBI’s, batting average, walks, homeruns, stolen bases, and putouts. Coach Yocke holds a master’s degree in kinesiology and sports management from San Jose State University. In the past, she worked with the Athletic Department at Stanford University and was the assistant coach for the AMHS softball program.
