The Monarchs had a remarkable post season run this past fall where they were crowned CCS Champions and claimed Archbishop Mitty’s first Northern California Championship title in water polo.The program offers varsity and junior varsity teams.
Coach Vierra has over twenty years of coaching experience and has led the Mitty Boys Water Polo program to its first 3 CCS Championships and its first ever Northern Caifornia Title. He was the USA Water Polo Olympic Development Program Pacific Zone head coach for over five years, where his team won a National Championship and he was named top coach of the tournament. Coach Vierra has also coached a variety of club teams and is currently a director at the San Jose Water Polo Foundation.
