The women’s field hockey program continues to be one of the most elite programs in Northern California. Last fall, the Monarchs won the CCS Championship. Great job, Monarchs!
Coach Williams ’95 has led her alma mater to seven CCS championships and nine league titles during 20 years as a coach on campus. She attended Stanford University, where she played field hockey and was honored with the Stanford Athletic Board Award as the Most Outstanding Senior Female Athlete. This year, she was named the High School Coach of the Year for California by Max Field Hockey for her role in leading the Monarchs to their seventh CCS title. Coach Williams has been inducted into the AMHS Hall of Fame as an individual athlete, teammate, and coach. Over the years, she has also been named coach of the year by the BVAL, the CCS, and the California Coaches Association of Northern California.
