Field Hockey

The women’s field hockey program continues to be one of the most elite programs in California. Last fall, the Monarchs had an impressive 20-2-1 season record and won the CCS Championship. The Monarchs finished the season ranked No. 2 in the state and No. 17 nationally by MaxPreps. The program offers varsity and junior varsity teams.

Head Coach: Justina Williams

Coach Williams ’95 has led her alma mater to eight CCS championships and nine league titles over the past 24 years of coaching on campus. She attended Stanford University, where she played field hockey and was named the Most Outstanding Senior Female Athlete and a two time NCAA All-American. Coach Williams has been inducted into the AMHS Hall of Fame in nearly every way possible, including as an individual athlete, with a team, and as a coach. Over the years, Coach Williams has also been named the coach of the year at the league, sectional, and state levels.
