The women’s field hockey program continues to be one of the most elite programs in Northern California. Last fall, the Monarchs advanced to the semifinals of the CCS Division I Playoffs. The program offers varsity and junior varsity teams.
Coach Williams ’95 has guided her alma mater to eight CCS championships and ten league titles during more than 25 years on campus. A standout field hockey player at Stanford University, she earned Most Outstanding Senior Female Athlete honors and was a two-time NCAA All-American. Coach Williams has been inducted into the AMHS Hall of Fame as an athlete, teammate, and coach, and has been recognized as Coach of the Year at the league, sectional, and state levels; most recently as the 2024-2025 CIF State Model Coach of the Year. She also holds a USA Field Hockey Level II certification and has served as a Futures/Nexus coach, Region 11 selector, and National Futures Championships coach.
