The four-acre field redesign project, completed in the spring 2026 semester, supports a campus master plan to modernize our school facilities. By redesigning the field as a multi-use athletic field complex, we modernized our softball facility, increased spectator participation and the home-game atmosphere, enabled use in inclement weather, and expanded program offerings to emerging sports of interest, including Women’s Flag Football.
This renovation was made possible by the shared vision of our Administration and our Board of Regents, along with the support of our generous donors.
The redesign isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about elevating the experience for everyone who steps onto the turf. From improved dugouts to a professional-grade playing surface, our student-athletes finally have the "home field advantage" they deserve. We’ve also redesigned the layout to bring our fans closer to the action. With increased spectator capacity and improved sightlines, the "home game atmosphere" is set to reach a fever pitch in upcoming seasons.
