Registration Fee

Incoming Freshmen: Class of 2023

For the incoming Freshmen Class of 2023, the following three items must be completed by March 28, 2019:

    1. A non-refundable Registration Fee of $1500.00
    2. Completion of our online Registration process
    3. Smart Tuition Agreement


The tuition for 2018-2019, not including the Registration Fee ($1,200), is $19,800.

Tuition may be paid using one of the following three options:

* SMART TUITION Management Program collects tuition on behalf of AMHS and offers many payment options: automatic deduction from a financial institute; mail-in payment ($40 fee if late); online payment; and credit card payment (fees apply).
• SMART TUITION charges a onetime fee of $50.00 per family to setup an agreement.
• ALL AMHS families are required to have a SMART TUITION account (one per family).

Tuition Fees and Policies

When a student withdraws or is dismissed from AMHS, parents are responsible for tuition for all months a student was in attendance, including partial months (1 day or more). Any paid tuition beyond the last month in attendance will be refunded.

Tuition Penalties

The payment schedule as outlined in the SMART Tuition Agreement is a binding contract and must be maintained and paid as agreed.  Late payments will be assessed a $40 fee each month until the account is current. An account that falls 60 days in arrears will result in suspension of the student, and a payment for the full amount will be required in order for the student to return to school. During this suspension, the student will not be permitted to be in contact with any teachers regarding class work and will not be able to participate in school activities. Failure to pay the tuition balance after 5 days of suspension will result in the student being dismissed from Archbishop Mitty High School.

Checks returned by the bank will be subject to a $25 charge. If two or more checks are returned for non-payment, the Business Office will request all future payments be made in the form of a cashier’s check, cash or money order.

Disciplinary Probation

If a student is placed on disciplinary probation, the student’s account must be kept current according to their payment schedule. Failure to keep the account current may result in the student being dismissed from school.

Graduation Fee

The Graduation Fee includes the Baccalaureate Mass, Graduation, the Senior Dinner, a cap and gown, and their iPad.

Student Activities Fee

The Student Activity Fee includes a AMHS yearbook, Spirit Shirt (received at beginning of year), and entrance into Monarch Madness.  

AMHS iPad AppleCare Program

Archbishop Mitty High School is pleased to provide coverage for stolen or accidentally damaged iPads with an annual $40 fee. This coverage includes a single repair for accidental damage at no additional cost. Subsequent repairs for accidental damage are subject to a $50 service fee. Stolen iPads are subject to a $100 deductible and requires the successful filing of a police report. Lost iPads will be billed the full replacement price at the time of incident. To best protect the iPad and minimize the chance of damage, proper use of the AMHS supplied iPad case and front cover is required. Coverage applies to all iPads issued after April 2015.

What is the cost of tuition?

The tuition for 2018-2019, including the Registration Fee, is $21,000. The tuition for the 2019-2020 will be determined in Spring, 2019.

When is tuition due?

A non-refundable Registration Fee of $1500 is due for accepted freshmen by March 28, 2019. AMHS has the following tuition payment plans:

  1. Annual tuition payment plus any fees due to AMHS by July 1, 2019.
  2. Semester tuition payments and any fees made via SMART Tuition* to AMHS due on July 1, 2019 and December 1, 2019. This plan has a $55 service charge.
  3. Ten monthly payments and any fees via SMART Tuition* to AMHS due on the first of every month, July through April. This plan has a $110 service charge.

*SMART Tuition Program collects tuition on behalf of AMHS automatically from your checking account, savings account or credit card and charges an annual fee of $50 per family. All families are required to have an account with SMART Tuition.

Is the $1500 registration fee refundable?

Registration fees are not refundable.

Are there any other fees?

Freshman pay a $60.00 Art Fee and a $25.00 Lock and P.E. Fee. (Book Lock, P.E. Lock & P.E. Shirt).

Sophomores and Juniors pay a $16.00 PSAT Testing Fee.

Seniors pay a $165.00 Graduation Fee.

All students pay a $40 iPad AppleCare Program Fee.

All students pay a $125 Student Activities Fee.
