  • Most courses are taught in 6 weeks at an accelerated pace.  Only one class may be taken.
  • Daily Schedule: 8:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon including break from 9:50 a.m. - 10:10 a.m.
  • 10 High School Credits are available for successful completion of 6-week course.

Pre-Algebra-  Rising 8th and 9th Grade Only
June 13- July 21
8:00 am - 12:00 Noon

Pre-algebra is designed to prepare students to enter the college-preparatory algebra sequence that begins with Algebra 1 and advances into higher-level math courses.  Basic math skills, such as multistep problem solving, analyzing word problems, and language relating to mathematics are reviewed and reinforced.  Additionally, students are introduced to variables, expression, equations and mathematical properties to develop necessary problem solving and critical thinking skills emphasized in Algebra 1.

Prerequisite: None
Course is classified as an Enrichment Course.  Students may not earn high school credit for course.
