The first semester final schedule is available for viewing on our AMHS website. First semester finals will take place Monday, December 19th, through Wednesday, December 21st. Please access the finals schedule by clicking here.

Students who might have conflicts because two finals are scheduled at the same time (two mathematics or science courses) need to see Mrs. Lori Robowski, Registrar, immediately to schedule an alternate time for one of the finals.

The locations of all final exams can be found on myMitty under Quick Links.

Second Semester Schedules
The second semester schedules will be distributed in homerooms on the first day of the second semester, which is Thursday, January 5th, 2017.

First Semester Transcripts
First Semester Transcripts will be available online on Friday, January 13th. Student final semester grades will be viewable in OnCampus on Monday, January 9th.

iPad Information for Final Exams

iPads Must Be Fully Charged for Each Day of Final Exams
Students are reminded that iPads must be fully charged each night in order for students to use the SofTest app. As many final exams will be administered using this app, it is critical that iPads are charged nightly the week of December 19th.

College Applications (SENIORS)

As deadlines approach, please note the following:

• The deadline is ONLY for the student application. Supplemental materials (test scores, transcripts, letters of recommendation) are sent separately so you do not have to wait for your teachers or counselor in order to submit your application.

Make sure that all of your colleges are listed on Naviance and on the Common App. Your recommenders cannot send their letters if a college is missing from either list. If the college is not on the Common Application, it should still be on Naviance.

You should send your official test scores through your College Board/ACT account. Archbishop Mitty cannot send your test scores.

Review your application with your counselor before you submit it.

Parents, please make sure to submit all required financial aid applications (FAFSA and/or CSS Profile).

New Financial Aid Information

Archbishop Mitty High School, under the auspices of the Diocese of San Jose, is pleased to
introduce our new financial aid management company, FACTS, which will collect and evaluate levels of financial aid need for the 2017-2018 school year. FACTS purchased PSAS earlier this year and as our returning families will see, most of the information, guidelines, and documentation will be similar to the format of the PSAS application.

All families requesting financial aid will be directed to our website to create an account with FACTS. Applications must be submitted online. Supporting documentation, including 2016 W-2s and 2015 federal tax returns, should be uploaded, faxed, or mailed. This is a secure online process, where you will provide a username and a password. After creating your account, you can login whenever it is convenient. Once logged in, you can fill out the application; update, change, and save information; track your progress; and communicate directly with helpful and knowledgeable FACTS staff members. The application is easy to navigate and is available in English and Spanish.

Only one application per household is required. If you are a returning family, you will be able to log in to your 2016-2017 PSAS application for reference. Financial aid applications are now available through our website, mitty.com, and are due February 6th, 2017. Families who want to be considered for financial aid for the 2017-2018 school year are encouraged to apply. Financial aid is awarded on a need-basis only.

Women's Basketball Team Wins National TournamentSchool Spirit

Congratulations to the women's basketball team, which won the prestigious 'Iolani Prep Basketball Classic this weekend. The Monarchs defeated Clovis West (No. 2 in California and No. 9 in the nation) with a 76-75 win in overtime. Sophomore Haley Jones was named the 'Iolani Classic Most Outstanding Player. Juniors Krissy Miyahara and Karisma Ortiz were named to the 'Iolani Classic All-Tournament Team. Miyahara hit eight 3-pointers to tie the school's single game record.

Though the season is just beginning, the Monarchs have already had some strong performances. They won their first game in a 78-52 victory against Bishop O'Dowd earlier this month. In addition to that, four Monarchs have already signed with Division I schools including senior Madeline Holland, who signed with Saint Mary's College of California; senior Heleyna Hill, who signed with San Jose State University; and seniors Tahlia Garza and Daniella Guglielmo, who signed with the University of California, Irvine. The Monarchs have been selected as the No. 1 women's basketball team in the Pacific by USA Today High School Sports, beating out teams in Arizona, California, Nevada, Washington, Hawaii, Oregon, and Alaska.
