Registrar's Office AMHS uses two methods of reporting grades for students WEBGrade
Teachers provide grade information on or about the 1st and 15th of each month through WEBGrade. This information includes specifics on student grades such as homework assignments, quizzes, class participation, projects, and exams. Parents and students may review a student's progress by consulting WebGrade. Teachers upload grades at the middle and end of each month. This may be accessed from Quick Links on the website. The student ID is your student's 5 digit ID number and the password is your student's last name.
Report Cards
Report cards are posted on the AMHS website at the conclusion of each semester and each quarter. Grades on the second and fourth report cards are the semester grades and are the basis on which credit for the semester's work is determined. Only semester grades appear on the transcripts. Transcripts are also posted on the website. The first and third quarter report cards are considered formal student progress reports.
Report Cards and Transcripts
Report cards and transcripts may be printed from the school's website and may be accessed from Quick Links Report Cards. Follow the example to log on to your student's page. Click on Students on the top bar to view the drop down menu to select report card or transcript. Posting dates for the 2015-2016 year are Quarter One: October 27, 2015 (report card only); Semester One: January 12, 2016 (report card and unofficial transcript); Quarter Three: March 14, 2016 (report card only); Semester Two: June 3, 2016 (report card and unofficial transcript). |

AMHS is excited to announce that we now have a program to mentor students to participate in the Synopsys Silicon Valley Science and Technology Championship on March 16-17, 2016. 2015-16 Booster Pass Purchase
The AMHS Booster Pass admits the entire family (two parents, all school-age children) to all home games of AMHS teams. The booster pass can provide you with significant savings, as home contests carry a $5.00 adult charge. We have five home football games, numerous home volleyball games, and basketball games (men and women). The AMHS Booster Pass cannot be used for playoff games. Students can pick up a family booster pass and gift from the Athletics Office Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Your name will be immediately added to the gate list allowing entrance with or without your booster pass card. The card can be purchased online by selecting Booster Pass from the Quick Links menu or by clicking here. |

UPLIFT Support Group
The Mass of Healing - Monday, October 12th, at 2:45 p.m. in the Chapel. All are welcome.
Uplift is a new Campus Ministry group at Archbishop Mitty. This group will be dedicated to students whose parents are going through (or have previously gone through) cancer treatment or those who have lost a parent or sibling to cancer.
Our goals are to
• Give a space where students can feel safe and speak freely with peers and know they are not alone going through this stressful time.
• Provide an environment where students going through similar experiences can connect and share coping strategies.
· Have a venue where students can work through difficult emotions via art, journaling, meditation, group discussions, speakers or walks, for example.
Uplift is moderated by Archbishop Mitty teachers who have personal experiences dealing with cancer, as well as a school counselor. We will provide a monthly lunch for the Uplift participants, followed by games, creative projects, discussions and other activities.
If you would like more information about Uplift or your student would like to be a part of this group this year please email Rose Lopez at rlopez@mitty.com. |

Athletics Report
Men's Water Polo Capture Pre-Season Tournament
It was a perfect start to the 2015 season for the varsity men's water polo team, as it captured the Connolly Tournament at Lynbrook High School last weekend. The Monarchs defeated squads from Lynbrook, Sobrato, and Half Moon Bay high schools to reach Saturday's championship game. Matched up against Willow Glen High School, the team fell behind 4-1 in the first half before staging an epic comeback to post a 6-4 victory and claim the title.
Several players had excellent outings over the four-match event, including senior Nate Chandler and juniors Connor MacLean and Dylan Luu. Congratulations to the entire team!
Field Hockey Open 2015 with Win and Draw
The varsity field hockey team began the 2015 campaign this past week with a pair of non-league contests against local opposition. The Monarchs posted an emphatic 5-0 win on Wednesday afternoon's season opener at Los Altos High School. Two days later, the team returned home and welcomed Saratoga High School to John Mise Field. Falling behind 1-0 to the visitors before the break, the Monarchs got a crucial second half equalizer from senior Hannah McCabe. The match ended deadlocked at 1-1 through the remainder of regulation and overtime as the two teams shared the spoils.
The Monarchs will hit the road for three games this week as they take on St. Ignatius (Wed), Del Mar (Fri), and Davis (Sat). Best of luck! |

Parent Pledge Annual Campaign
Annual parent pledge has begun. No other gift program more directly benefits your student. The funds raised go directly to the operating budget to fund enhanced academic and extracurricular programs for your child and other Monarchs. As an added bonus, many corporations are willing to match your gift. Your employer can advise you if your company has a matching gift program. Thank you to the many families who have responded so generously. The program is being coordinated by Mary Jane Schmidt in the Advancement Office. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact her at (408) 342-4226. |
