Spirit Week

October 4th through October 10th is Spirit Week time! This is one entire week for the entire school to have fun, show their school spirit, and for classes to compete for a forever-engraved spot on the Spirit Trophy. Classes compete throughout the week in a variety of activities.

The first chance for students to compete for the title is by dressing up each day in accordance with that particular day's theme. More spirit points can be earned by answering the daily trivia questions correctly. Every day there is a different lunchtime activity. A few in the past have been karaoke, teacher dunk tanks, and pie-eating contests. There is a full carnival day complete with a DJ for some quality music entertainment also!

Wednesday is Powder Puff Football, where the girls and boys switch football season roles. The girls play in a football game with the crowd being lead in cheers by a group of boy cheerleaders.

Friday is the traditional Homecoming Rally for the whole student body; which culminates with the crowning of this year’s champion in preparation for Friday's Homecoming Football game versus St. Ignatius. At half time of this year's game, the Homecoming Court will be introduced to the crowd, with the King and Queen to be announced at the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night.
