FAQs:

Q:  What exactly is the Magazine Drive?

A: The Magazine Drive is the school’s major fundraiser for the year. It begins on August 22nd and runs until September 13th. The three turn-in days were August 29th , September 7th, and 12th.

In 1990, Archbishop Mitty High School began using the Magazine Drive to fund Student Activities. Instead of each club or organization running their own fundraiser, the entire school pitched in to raise the money necessary for all student-run events. As a result, programs have been dramatically enriched and additional programs have been started. Students at Archbishop Mitty have gained a respected reputation for their positive work in the community and using their talents to benefit others. This fundraiser is an important tool to keep alive the programs and activities that make Archbishop Mitty such a tremendous environment for its students.

The proceeds directly benefit the student body through the Student Activities program. School dances, Spirit Week, Monarch Madness, Junior Prom, Senior Ball, and other activities throughout the year are subsidized by money raised through the Magazine Drive.

Q:  As a parent, how can I help my student in the Magazine Drive?

A: You can tell your friends and family about the Magazine Drive through Facebook and have them order magazines online.  Click here to learn more about both options and why online ordering is a great opportunity.
