SAT Test Prep

AMHS offers virtual test prep courses through our partnership with Revolution Prep. The discounted SAT test prep courses are offered throughout the year, including summers, to help prepare AMHS students for college entrance exams. If you have any questions about the course curriculum, instruction, practice tests, etc., please contact programsupport@revolutionprep.com. Limited financial assistance will be available for students currently on significant tuition assistance (50% or higher). If you need financial assistance, please contact Mrs. Tien Menor, tmenor@mitty.com.

If you have questions about when to take the prep class and the SAT test, please contact your counselor. Students pay for the course once and can repeat any of the sessions from future classes free of charge. 

The Counseling Department recommends that students sign up only if they have completed or are concurrently enrolled in Algebra II. Since attendance is crucial for a successful prep course, students who need to miss more than two class sessions should consider other options. Alternative options include:

• Khan Academy: In addition to practice tests, you'll get personalized practice recommendations so you can focus on what you missed.
• CollegeBoard: Website offers full-length practice tests that you can download and score yourself. 
• PSAT/NMSQT: Full-length, paper test of PSAT/NMSQT through Khan Academy.
