Tips for Parents – Internet Access

Parents are encouraged to visit Family Connection and view their student’s file, which includes the college search, the personality test, learning styles inventory, college applications and deadlines.  Parents were mailed their Family Connection User ID and password in the spring.  It is important that parents log in to the Parent Folder and not the Student Folder.  The Counseling Department can help if this information has been misplaced.

Two parent tip sites are very useful: CollegeBoard and FinAid  Both sites have “parent” sections that answer FAQs and provide extensive information.  Regardless of the grade level of the student, parents will benefit by becoming familiar with these two web sites.
