Campus Ministry Goals

1. To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each person by:

• helping individuals and groups within the greater school community reflect upon their fundamental beliefs and values
• helping individuals realize their significance in relationship to school, family, Church, and world community
• calling on and encouraging members of the school community to share their gifts and to minister to others

2. To invite and encourage involvement in and celebration of the faith community through various forms and styles of worship, especially the celebration of the Eucharist

3. To communicate and proclaim the message of Jesus Christ

4. To educate and encourage action regarding contemporary moral and social problems, as well as to urge people to work for peace and justice in our world

5. To complement the general goals and objectives of the Religious Studies Department and of Archbishop Mitty High School

6. To respond to the invitation of the Church to proclaim and extend the Kingdom of God in the world by offering service to those in need
