The Monarch Men's Varsity tennis finished the 2009 season in with a 15-8 overall record. The team advanced to CCS playoffs for the 9th straight season, making it to the second round before losing to Los Gatos. Senior Captain Devashish Joshi was selected to the WCAL All-League First team. Sophomores Ivan Kravtchenko and Rushekish Joshi and junior Austin Lenz were also named to the All-WCAL squad.
