There was a lot to celebrate over the course of the 2009 baseball season. The team posted a very impressive 24-12 final record, good enough to earn a second place finish in the CCS Division I championships. The highlight of that playoff run was the big 14-7 win in the semi-final over WCAL rival St. Francis. Along the way, veteran head coach Bill Hutton achieved an amazing personal milestone by surpassing the 500-win mark. With a solid core of underclassmen returning for the 2010 season, the Monarchs are sure to add to that total this spring.
