Track and field raced to glory once again in the spring of 2009. The women’s team took the WCAL meet with a solid performance, including winning both the relay events. Senior Liz Gordon also won a league individual title in the shot put.
Jeff Campbell (’09) swept the individual hurdling events to lead the men. Three other Monarch male athletes also qualified for the CCS meet, along with the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams. All in all, it was a great season for all our track and field competitors.
