The Men’s Varsity Soccer team finished the 2007-08 season with an overall record of 13-5-6, a WCAL league record of 10-2-2 and a final CCS ranking of 8th by the San Jose Mercury News. Highlights of the season included winning 10 league games which is the most league wins in program history, competing against 4 nationally ranked teams and tying three of them: Bellarmine, Clovis West, and Richmond. For the fifth consecutive season, the Monarchs have competed in the CCS Playoffs, advancing to the quarter final round this season. In addition, Junior Kevin Atkins tied the WCAL record for the most goals scored in a league season with 19 and Senior Ben Boyce will be playing collegiate soccer at USF.
