Women’s Water Polo Head Coach

The Girls Varsity Water Polo team finished the 2007 season with an overall record of 21 - 7 and a 3rd place finish in the WCAL, a Division 1 CCS semi-finalist, and an overall ranking of 4th in the CCS. Highlights of the season included two 4 - 1 finishes in the NorCal and Western States Invitationals with wins over 2007 San Joaquin Section Champion Davis High School, 2006 San Joaquin Section Champion St Francis ofSacramento, 2007 CCS Division 1 Champion Menlo-Atherton, and NCS semi-finalist Campolindo. The Monarchs also laced 1st in the Los Altos Invitational over host school and SCVAL champion Los Altos. 2007 was the 10th year of Mitty’s women’s water polo program and the team has qualified for CCS play in 9 seasons out of those 10, with 1 CCS championship (2006), 1 runner up (2001), 2 semi-final appearances (2003, 2007), and 3 quarter final appearances (2000, 2002, 2004). Currently, there are 4 Mitty alums playing collegiate NCAA water polo, with another 3 looking to join them out of the class of 2008.
