The Varsity Football team finished the 2007 season with an overall record of 7-4 and a 4th place finish in the WCAL, and a final CCS ranking of 7th by the San Jose Mercury News. Highlights of the season included a league victory over St. Francis to qualify for a CCS berth in the final game of the regular season. The Monarchs lost 34 - 28 to the eventual CCS Champions, Oak Grove Eagles. The following Monarchs of the class of 2008 have committed to play in college next season: Anthony Miller (CAL), Jaiye Falusi (Princeton), Brian McKeon (CSU-Sacramento), Thomas Reynolds (Cal-Poly), and Kenny Jackson (Cal-Poly).
