Transfer Application

Prospective transfer students may now apply online to Archbishop Mitty. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and admissions decisions will be made during the months of April and May. Admission for 10th and 11th grades is on a space available basis and based on academic record, standardized testing, and teacher evaluations. We are unable to accommodate 12th grade transfer applicants.

Submit to Archbishop Mitty High School beginning January 3, 2008:

1. Your completed online 2008 Transfer Application and $65 application fee payment.
2. Your completed Form 1 - Religious Affiliation. This form must be completed by all transfer applicants.
3. A copy of your Baptismal Certificate (if Catholic).
4. Official School Transcript which includes the first semester grades for the 2007/2008 school year
5. Standardized testing scores you have taken since 7th grade. Check with your school registrar for this information, if do not have copies at home.
6. English Teacher Evaluation Form 2
7. Math Teacher Evaluation Form 3

Admissions Policy and Criteria

Archbishop Mitty High School admits students of any race, color, or ethnic origin, and from any geographic region, and extends all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded to or made available for students at the school.  Archbishop Mitty does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, scholarship or loan programs, or in other school-administered programs.

Admission to Archbishop Mitty High School is comprehensive; however, the Archbishop Mitty Admissions Committee primarily considers the following criteria when making admissions decisions:

  • High school grades and discipline/attendance history
  • Standardized test scores from junior high and high school
  • Teacher recommendations
  • Student-reported activities and special talents
