To current 8th grade students,

Thank you so much for your interest in Archbishop Mitty High School. We have completed our online application process for the Class of 2012. We hope that you were able to send in your application and forms to be considered for Fall enrollment.

Acceptance letters, financial aid details, and the results of the High School Placement Tests will all be mailed out during the month of March.

Admissions Policy and Criteria

Archbishop Mitty High School admits students of any race, color, or ethnic origin, and from any geographic region, and extends all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded to or made available for students at the school.  Archbishop Mitty does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, scholarship or loan programs, or in other school-administered programs.

Admission to Archbishop Mitty High School is comprehensive; however, the Archbishop Mitty Admissions Committee primarily considers the following criteria when making admissions decisions:

• High school grades and discipline/attendance history
• Standardized test scores from junior high and high school
• Teacher recommendations
• Student-reported activities and special talents
