If you’re considering attending Archbishop Mitty High School, you’ve probably done your homework and you probably know a lot about us and what we have to offer. But web research and word of mouth alone don’t tell the whole story. After all, choosing a high school is a big step in your life. It isn’t just an academic decision. It’s a personal one.

Students often tell us that visiting campus helped them know that Archbishop Mitty High School was a great fit for them. Some 8th graders thought that they would find the campus too big for their taste and discover just the opposite: they feel right at home with our diverse and welcoming student body. Others say that talking to current students gave them a whole new perspective on our community and opened their eyes to all of the many things that they could do in high school. Still other found that learning more about our academic programs was enormously helpful in making their decision.

Our Visit Mitty Program is the perfect way to find our more about our Catholic college preparatory and the people who make up our community.

Our Visit Mitty Program is unique as it allows 8th graders to visit in one of three ways:

Option #1

An 8th grader can come to campus with a friend who is also in the 8th grade and spend the day with a student that they know who attends Archbishop Mitty High School.

Option #2

An 8th grader can come to campus with a friend who is also in the 8th grade and spend the day with a trained Visit Mitty Ambassador from our freshman or sophomore class.

Option #3

An 8th grader can come to campus on his or her own and spend the day with another visiting 8th grader and a Visit Mitty Ambassador from our freshman or sophomore class.

All three options will be available online Wednesday, September 1, 2010.

The program runs on selected Wednesdays, Thursday and Fridays from September through December from 8:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
