Course Registrations and Scheduling Calendar 2008/2009
Our registration process for the 2008/2009 year begins in January.
AMHS registers students into two types of courses, restricted courses (e.g. honors and AP courses) and elective courses. The department chair places students in restricted courses for next year according to demonstrated academic achievement in classes this year. Students may choose different elective courses based upon student interest and available seats in the particular courses.
Students enrolled in our core college preparatory classes are automatically enrolled in the next level of college preparatory class, e.g. World History students move on to United States History. The complete course list will be available February 28th on our Website (www.mitty.com) under "Academics". Accelerated, Honors and AP placements will be available on the website on February 28th.
Please email the department chair if you have a question regarding your student’s placement in a particular class.
