Archbishop Mitty Parent Association (AMPA)
The objectives of this organization are the following:
- to instill a sense of community by providing opportunities for parents to work and socialize together
- to provide opportunities to increase volunteerism among parents and students
- to provide service and financial support to enhance student programs
Most volunteer jobs take place after work hours. These are some of the areas that need parent support:
The Annual Mitty Auction, Athletics, Performing Arts, Mailings, Parent Support, and Social Committee.
Father/Son Day at the Giants
Father/Son Day at the Giants April 21st Tickets are now on sale for $25/person. The Giants vs Padres its a 1:05 game time. The day starts with a Mass here in the Chapel at 10:00. You will then board the bus and be given a box lunch for the ride up to San Francisco. There is a limited number of tickets so it will be on a first come, first served basis. Throughout the year, the Archbishop Mitty Parent Association is responsible for planning events and providing services to the school that benefit the entire Mitty community. These services provide valuable assistance to the school while the events offer opportunities for parents to meet other parents. Please consider committing your time in one or more of the areas. It is our hope that all parents will assist us by volunteering in some way. Your participation is a wonderful way to meet other parents and have some fun.
We appreciate your willingness to participate and become involved in the Mitty community. Working together and sharing experiences that benefit our daughters and sons are opportunities not to be missed. We look forward to meeting and working with you in the coming year.
Faculty/Staff Partnership Program
If you would like to help us to make this program an ongoing success, drop off those sporting event tickets, theater tickets, gift certificates or vacation home vouchers that you are unable to use. Remember that these donations are tax-deductible gifts. The enthusiasm and excitement of our faculty and staff is phenomenal and should be rewarded. You may also drop off your donation at the Main Office in care of Mary Ann Prescott.
